# Are the Cube and Mini safe to use?

When mining PKT no one is actually using your internet. You are just proving that you have an internet connection, which also encrypts the network. When wifi sharing, all data travels through a VPN so users are not connected to your IP address and all traffic is end-to-end encrypted for maximum data privacy and security.
