With that said Routie products do require being hardwired to each other.

Edge Extenders can gain internet by connecting to each other as long as one is connected to the Mini or your network.
If you have complex networks, it will be useful to engage someone who knows that network. If you are looking to add Edge Extenders to the exterior of your building or in various rooms, be prepared to run wires through crawl spaces or along footboards.
