How to Export Seed?

This guide provides step-by-step instructions on how to export the seed of your Routie product and ensure the security of your coins.

 

How to Export Your Wallet Seed

Important: Make sure your personal device is connected to the same WiFi network as your Routie device before starting.

  1. Open your browser and go to Routie.io.

  2. Log in to your Routie account to access your Dashboard.

  3. Navigate to the Settings tab and click Export.

  4. Enter your seed encryption passphrase, then click Export Wallet Seed at the bottom right of the prompt.

  5. A message will appear indicating that your seed is being encrypted — please wait and do not close the window.

  6. When notified that your wallet seed is ready, check all required boxes and click Get Seed.

  7. You will be redirected to the confirmation page once the export is successful.

Security Reminder

Store your seed and passphrase securely (e.g., in a safe).
Anyone with access to your seed can take your coins.
If you lose your seed and passphrase and something happens to your Routie device, your coins cannot be recovered. Routie has no way to restore lost wallet seeds or passphrases.
