How to set up my Edge Extender?

Routie Edge Extender Setup Guide

STEP 1 — Connect Your Mini/Cube to the PoE Injector

1. Make sure your Routie Mini is already set up and connected to the internet.

2. Take one of the supplied Ethernet cables and plug it into:

   • Your Routie Mini, OR

   • The same network switch your Mini or Cube is connected to.

3. Plug the other end of this Ethernet cable into the PoE Injector on the port labeled LAN.

STEP 2 — Connect Your Edge Extender

1. Take the second Ethernet cable and plug it into the Edge Extender.

   • When looking at the back of the Edge Extender, use the right-side Ethernet port.

2. Plug the other end of this cable into the PoE Injector on the port labeled POE.

3. Connect the supplied power cord to the PoE Injector and plug the other end into a wall outlet.

4. Wait 10 minutes while your Edge Extender initializes for the first time.

Once completed, your Edge Extender will begin broadcasting Routie Free Internet.

Setup Complete!

Your Routie Edge Extender is now fully connected and active.
